Graceworks Enhanced Living is reflecting on the life and service of Pamela Riley, who passed away on November 26. Pam shared more than twelve years of her life with Graceworks, and in her role as our Madison Home Manager, she became a steady presence for the women who live there and for the team who worked beside her for many years.

Remembered as “upbeat and positive,” Pam was well-known as someone whose smile and calm nature made any challenging days much easier for everyone around her. She will surely be remembered for the ready kindness she offered so naturally.
When the Madison Home relocated in March 2023, Pam rolled up her sleeves and guided the move with her customary patience. She painstakingly packed up years of belongings and supported everyone through the transition to their new home. She approached the move in the same way she approached much else, bringing quiet reassurance and a great sense of humor to the task. She eased stress for others, even when the work was heavy.

Pam’s influence extended beyond her daily tasks. She was someone who always made time for others, listened with attention, and provided genuine care that was profoundly felt. Many across the entire Graceworks organization have shared how much they valued her graceful kindness and how deeply they will feel her absence. She will be missed.
As part of our tradition of remembrance, Pam’s name will be added to the Memorial Patio at Bethany Village in the spring. This special place was created to honor employees who pass away while still part of our Graceworks family. It is a place for reflection, surrounded by engraved bricks that recognize lives of service. In this quiet place, coworkers, families, and friends can rest on benches to remember those who gave so much of themselves to this mission.
Pam’s legacy endures in the true sense of home she helped create for the people we serve at Madison. We hold her family, her coworkers, and the entire Enhanced Living community in our hearts.
