For Deb Lyle, service extends far beyond the walls of her office and the Graceworks communities she supports. She has consistently prioritized advocacy as part of her leadership, living out Faithful Caring by helping lobby and educate for stronger services and support for people with disabilities.

For the last two years, Deb, who is the Administrator of Graceworks Enhanced Living, has served as the convener of the Lutheran Services in America (LSA) Disability Network, a national group that brings together leaders from across the country who serve individuals with disabilities. Deb led her final meeting in the role on February 3, concluding a two-year term of leadership and impact.

Throughout her time as convener, Deb has valued the opportunity to learn alongside other leaders in the field, sharing ideas and exploring innovative approaches to workforce challenges, services, and the future of disability support. She also took part in advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill, helping educate lawmakers about the critical role Medicaid plays in funding services for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Deb’s leadership and the way she represented Graceworks at the national level reflect her deep commitment to living our mission. She has worked consistently to bring the heart of Faithful Caring beyond our communities, working to strengthen the broader systems of care that support the people we serve.
