A Heart for Service: Eva Holtman’s Extra Mile

For nearly 30 years, Eva Holtman has been a dedicated cook at Bethany Village, crafting meals with care. But recently, she stepped beyond the kitchen to serve in the dining room—a rare change in her routine that turned into a beautiful moment of connection.

While helping during lunch, Eva noticed a community member visibly upset, mourning the loss of his brother. Instead of just passing by, Eva sat with him, listening as he shared heartfelt stories about his loved one.

Eva’s kindness and compassion in that moment are a true reflection of the heart of our Bethany Village community through Faithful Caring and an atmosphere that is truly more than home.
