June was Alzheimer’s Brain and Awareness Month, and Graceworks recently had the privilege of attending the Reason to Hope Breakfast, an impactful event organized by the Miami Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. This inspiring morning brought together community members, leaders, and advocates to learn more about Alzheimer’s disease while raising vital funds to support groundbreaking research, essential programs, and critical services for those affected by the disease.

Anne Jones and Chris Wood, from Bethany Village’s Sales and Marketing office, joined other attendees in this powerful hour of education and community engagement. The table was hosted by Missy Mae Walters, Communications Director with the Montgomery County Treasurer’s Office.

The Reason to Hope Breakfast serves as an annual reminder of the importance of collective action in addressing Alzheimer’s disease, which affects so many individuals and families across our community. Through the shared stories, information, and calls to action presented during the event, attendees left with a renewed sense of purpose and hope for the future.

Graceworks remains committed to supporting efforts like these that align with our mission of compassionate service and community care. We are grateful for opportunities like the Reason to Hope Breakfast that shine a light on the challenges of Alzheimer’s while inspiring meaningful solutions.
