Birthdays at Bethany Village are more than a number and a chance to have a party. They are one of our favorite times to gather, honor, learn and celebrate the beautiful souls who make our community so special.

We recently celebrated two extraordinary milestones—Barb Clark (pictured here) turned 102, and Eunice Estep turned 103!

Barb is a proud mother of four sons and was surrounded by several of her 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed a fun-filled celebration, made extra special with thoughtful Barbie-pink decorations lovingly arranged by Life Enrichment Coordinators Julee Shihady & Paige Passineau.

Per tradition, we made sure to ask both women for their advice on living a long and happy life.

Eunice, who treasures her three daughters and countless grandchildren, advised us to “Love everyone. Be a Christian and follow the Lord.”

Barb told us, “Do what you want to do. Fulfill your dreams,”  inspiring us to remember that life’s possibilities are endless when we approach each day with courage and hope.

These remarkable women have lived full lives built on faith, family, and joy, and their birthdays were a testament to the love and sincerity that they bring to our community every day.

As we reflect on the wisdom and love these two inspiring women embody, we’re reminded of the values that shape our community: faith, kindness, and the courage to embrace life’s adventures. Thank you, Barb and Eunice, for showing us how extraordinary a life well-lived can be.
