Marty Bush's joyful spirit was on full display as we celebrated her 104th birthday. Holding the distinction of being the longest-residing member of our Crescent Crossing assisted living community (since its opening in 2019!), County Treasurer John McManus declared 'Marty Bush Day' as crowds of friends gathered 'round.

Throughout her life, Marty has found joy in a variety of passions, from her career as a secretary at Frigidaire to her hobbies of golfing, gardening, and volunteering. Today, she especially enjoys watching golf and spending time with her son, two daughters, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On Marty's 100th birthday, she was so moved upon receiving her hundred roses that she began sharing the flowers with others, spreading happiness throughout the halls. Since then, this act of kindness has sparked a tradition where other community members continue to do the same on their special days!
