Welcoming Pastor Scott Nellis to Bethany Village

On Sunday, June 1, Bethany Village held a special service to officially welcome Rev. Scott Nellis as Pastoral Care Specialist for our community. 

Pastor Scott was officially certified by Pastor Bob Abrams, Assistant to the Bishop of the Southern Ohio Synod-Evangelical Lutheran Church, and the installation marks the formal beginning of Pastor Scott’s ministry atBethany Village.

In his role, Pastor Scott will proclaim the Word of God, administer the sacraments, and provide spiritual support to employees, residents and their families, offering a compassionate presence that reflects our commitment to Faithful Caring.

The installation service was attended by many members of the community, as well as Pastor Scott’s family, including his wife, parents, in-laws, and daughters. The ceremony was made even more memorable with Pastor Scott’s wife playing piano and performing a solo for everyone present.

Pastor Scott’s ministry brings renewed hope and spiritual guidance to our community. As we embrace this new chapter together, we are reminded how faith and fellowship play a role in  nurturing relationships.
